Pros

Variety of clients, all walks of life. The people that work here are amazing. Benefits and pay are competitive. Easy commute for dfw area.

Cons

Not a lot of downsides to working at methodist. I want to work in a non-hospital environment.

Pros

The positivity of the organization is felt throughout each institution and even across the entire health system. The chain of command is very short, meaning messages are not lost in translation as they are disseminated across the system. This is also felt in the visibility of upper administration as they interact with front line staff in venues like employee forums.

Cons

Methodist exists in a very competitive marketplace where there is a lot of competition for retaining talented staff members. Our department has struggled with the higher performing staff members leaving for higher pay and additional benefits at competitors.
