Pros

Good nursing staff, hospital administrators have good systems in place for quality assurance. Continually improving and streamlining processes, most systems are now EHR based. Respectful support staff. Compensation is better than some other hospitals in Dallas area, round on your own schedule, very manageable workload.

Cons

Very few new physicians hired from other places, most are hired out of the residency so the culture becomes small minded or inbred, and everyone is afraid of the director who has run her department for decades so no one speaks up when something is wrong or needs to be addressed.

I understand why the high turnover

Pros

Market review of salary is probably the only positive thing I could say. Management kind of leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.

Cons

Very high school and clicky. The hiring process is very long just for the turnover rate to be extremely high. It's kind of ridiculous and everyone knows it.

Pros

Great place to work. Common quote: " You wont make much money but you will really like working here."

Cons

Salaries for staff (doctors not included) are mid-range- not the best but not the worst either.
