Thank you for your review. We appreciate your praise of our charge nurses — what a difference they can make! We also believe that with time you will come to feel good about your increasing pay and the patients under your care. Typically, the longer you're part of Methodist, the more it seems like the only place to be.

Thank you for your review. It appears that your experience with us fell short of our high standards. We are so often praised for the friendly, helpful environment employees enjoy at our hospitals. We wish you the best in your future.

Pros

Benefits Opportunities for overtime with hourly bonus if shift picked up voluntarily.

Cons

Corporate for profit health care system that is about making money, flipping beds, and having as little under or uninsured patients come through their hospital as possible. It is not patient centered care. And they do not care about their employees either. They sucker new grad rns in. And then distract you from the red flags with a 36 hour weekly OT allowance that adds 40/hr to your base hourly rate if you voluntarily pick up an extra shift that is needee for the week ahead......BECAUSE THEY ARE SHORT STAFFED and it's cheaper you pay an employee 40 extra an hr for over tome then hire enough full time experienced full tim nurses they have to pay way much more to employee in the long run as experience critical care/icu nurses make upwards og 45 an hour base..............screw methodist
