      Competent, caring people Relatively good pay for day to day employees. Flexible and mostly caring Mgt staff.

      Cons

      Good ol' boy (and girl) networking required for advancement. Sr. Mgt miserly with information. Relatively good pay for day to day employees. Flexible and mostly caring Mgt staff.

      Pros

      Methodist is a good place to work because you usally get the feeling that your job is secure. They give you food vouchers for your birthday and gift cards for Christmas. There are great doctors that work there as well. There are a lot of good employees there so friends are easy to make.

      Cons

      There is a lot of clicks at Methodist. The politics there are overwhelming. Brownnosers have the tendedncy to get promoted quickly even if they aren't the most qualified.

      Pros

      They have great benefits and packages that encourage you to promote the company and get others to work at methodist also.leadership and management always keep you informed of new changes that are coming. You always feel like the company has a good direction. Leadership and Managment do everythign that they can to make sure that they are financially responsible.

      Cons

      Short Staffed and they really need to hire more employees. Recognition and raises based on performance other than just once a year. The pay could be more competative. Also tehy don't like for you to work very much overtime. They also could be more competative with other hospitals in the area in regards to their 403(b) plan.
