      Pros

      Pay better than Baptist. This was the go to hospital prior to covid to be treated with respect as a nurse. Not anymore.

      Cons

      Nurse/patient ratio 7/1 bc understaffed. No bonuses. Travelers making double permanent employees salary. No teamwork or assistance from management. Turnover right high. New nurses precept new nurses.

      Pay isn't great and we have to use PTO for holidays

      The clinic provides good work like balance. My coworkers are great.

      Cons

      I dislike the fact that MLH makes us use out PTO for clinic closure days, for example, holidays and snow days. We can never accrue enough PTO for an actual vacation. If you don't have PTO, you just don't get paid when holidays roll around. They also don't pay enough at all.
