if you freinds with the executives they will take care of you.

Cons

Pay is based on your boss likes you. 547 has no idea what is going on and they really dont care. everyone is out to get you, all you have to do is cross somone and they file a complaint on you or send you to discipline hearing. We live in fear.

Checks don't bounce and the workforce are good people

Cons

Division between management(547) and contract employees are the worst I've seen and show ZERO signs of improvement. Pay is low. Hours are long. Attendance policy is insulting. Metra preaches that employess are encouraged to engage in self care, yet attendence points are given for even going to a doctor's appointment! I have 20 years railroading and I can no longer encourage people to work here. The disconnect is enormous.

Salary was competitive with good benefits Can learn a lot if the opportunity is there Rarely work outside business hours

Cons

Management has very poor communication, talks over their employees and does not understand HR policies. No direction, roadmap or transparency given by c level management for department Morale and culture is very low and most everyone didn’t seem to enjoy their jobs or want to be there No cross team collaboration, very much you figure it out and teamwork was discouraged
