Pros
-Wellness cost reimbursement up to $300/year
Cons
- Scheduling. HR promotes fully WFH scheduling and flexible schedules when 1) department head’s ultimately determine a cap for WFH (ask for this during a recruitment). ES capped WFH at 25% maximum and with no warning can and WILL revoke it. 2) Also, beware a 4-10 schedule may be an “option” during recruitment, but when you start you may be required to work 5-8’s. - Benefits! The premium contribution for even the high deductible health plan is outrageous. The dental plan has a deductible to meet, even for routine cleanings. - There is no Union. - Raises are 3-7% annually, majority of staff get 3% which does not even keep up with inflation. - No training plans are in place to ensure successful onboarding - Workload is unsustainable. - Excessive overtime and rigid flex time. Salaried staff are expected to work around the clock but management is rigid with flexing this time. Staff routinely take their laptops on vacation and routinely work/attend meeting during sick and vacation leave. - Training is not provided internally or externally. If staff cannot get training by their management or colleagues due to workload, seminars or offsite should be offered. -Promised seminars/training opportunities and then told no budget to send staff. - Management is dishonest.
