Pros

Good retirement benefits. Several buckets of time off: SICK, Personal, Vacation. Leave time is not all rolled into one bucket. Pleasant co-workers and good mission. Expanding hospital and services.

Cons

Managers are stretched beyond reasonable standards, high stress level especially in the outpatient world. Limited resources and training outside of nursing employees.

I have worked at MetroHealth over two different periods 80s-90s and 2010s-present. I came back a second time because of the people at MetroHealth. It's a place where anyone willing to work hard can succeed - we support each other in our work life.

Cons

A long commute from my home.
