Pros

Great culture: I’ve always felt valued as an employee and I love how involved Metro is in the community Good work-life balance (at least in my department) Lots and lots of opportunities for growth as the system expands; leadership seems to be very open to feedback and opportunities for change

Cons

Public institution means a harder patient population Leadership can be too slow to enact positive change Compared to other nearby institutions, this is a more “laid-back” culture, but unfortunately this also means a lack of clear-cut policies in areas that need them.
