If you care about other people, you will enjoy feeling good about the work you do here. You'll work with others who are dedicated to helping the most vulnerable members of the community as the safety-net hospital for the county. Current leadership is great.

Cons

Resources are often limited. Leadership has been inconsistent in the past, and decisions made years ago are now having a negative impact and forcing difficult changes.

Good service for underserved communities. Great benefits. Decent pay.

Cons

Toxic work environment. RACISM. Nightmare Management overall. They will exploit your good work ethic. No time to see or spend time with family and they will not accommodate. If you love your family, don’t apply here. Also, no growth within the company and they will exploit the “good” pay to pidgeon hold you and not let you develop. They would rather let you go then accomodate because of family or life scenarios.
