Pros

None really, city job if your looking to do 20 years and leave

Cons

Very difficult to be promoted and move around, hiring process takes too long, very very unorganized, high turn over rate. Management sucks, directive is cloudy. So many things wrong with this company, look the other way.

Pros

The great thing about working for MetroPlus is that it is a city job so if you sign up for NYCERS and work for the city for a minimum of 10 years, you are fully vested for retirement.

Cons

There is a lack of promotional opportunities, salaries are low, and most of all, at least 75% of employees at this company are lazy. There is too much of the "that's not my job" attitude at this company.

Pros

MetroPlus is a great company to work for. It is a company that is in the midst of organizational change, due to the new restructured competitive environment of the ACA.

Cons

Depending on the department, the operational efficacy was not always optimal.
