Pros

Benefits, Benefits, Benefits...also good experience in the industry

Cons

Office Culture is TERRIBLE...it's all about who likes you or who you are related to in order to get a "promotion" in which you have to apply via intranet and hope you get an interview. Promotions are non-existent, don't expect a raise, no bonus or insentive programs and ghetto coworkers.

Pros

There are no pros to this company.

Cons

There are many unqualified people working in senior level in the company. There are staff members that don't have a college degree and work in a senior level positions. Promotion is not based on merit. There is very little representation of minorities other than African Americans within the company and very high nepotism throughout a city sponsored government company. The company is also corrupt through its core with internal sex scandals. There is also no electronic time docking system, so employees who have the appropriate connections do not show up to work or leave early.

Pros

Good for people that want a job, but don't want to work. Union benefits for those who qualify. Good place to refer your worst enemy to work at. If you like to wear skanky, wrinkled clothes, sneakers and jeans everyday, and not comb your hair, this is the place for you.

Cons

Bedbug infested, unprofessional, potential waste and abuse of government funded dollars. Poor people and systems management. Disrespectful staff at all levels. Careless customer service. Classic union/socialist environment. Dirty office. Large number of staff members that practice Voodoo and Santeria at their work stations. Poor to no communication. Departments hate each other, staff and management targets good and top performers, the incentive is to work and contribute the minimum so that no one looks bad. This place promotes on the basis of "who you know" not what you know. In my last days there, I found evidence of sabotage by management against good employees. Don't be surprised if you witness employee violence and intimidation.
