Great Atmosphere

Pros

Culture of learning and improving, members and employees satisfaction are always a priority on the Leadership Agenda. You can meet with the CEO every month as he has set up an entire hour to be in a conference room waiting to meet and hear any employee that wants to pass by, he even have his assistant taking notes and following up with requests

Cons

Location commute is very difficult and since it is a city institution there is not work from home option

Pros

I have a great Director. I have the opportunity to work with various departments within the organization thus providing me with a holistic view of Managed Care. I have a great work life balance and for that I am grateful.

Cons

MetroPlus must step into the current era in regards to technology, applications and systems used. The systems are very old .There is a huge problem with accountability and change occurring. Salaries are lower than the industry average and there are no automatic merit raises.
