Pros

- Adhere's to it's mission "A passion for technology. Value for our customers." because both the practice areas the company works through and the customers it works with have increased the last 5 years in a row. The company started in 1999 by doing what it now call's it's Collaboration and Infrastructure practice areas and has continued to expand, providing IT solutions via Mobile Applications, Web Development, Digital Design, New Media, Cybersecurity, and other areas. - Believes in empowering/educating employees: Info-sharing through Star Talks when new project developments occur, Leadership Training and Individual Career Development Plan for providing professional development training and certification support, MetroStar University to bring in house trainings more than a few people want to take. - Collaborative/friendly work environment: Corporate Intranet built with SharePoint technology, Lots of workspace per individual (due to growth, the company is looking to expand office space to maintain current individual workspace standards), White boards and group meetings can be found everywhere, Lots of corporate events to encourage collaboration (several large events each year - Summer Picnic, Spring/Fall Open Houses, Winter Holiday Party/ several smaller events each month - Pizza Fridays, Group lunches, Group Games/Challenges.

Cons

- With the continued growth, there has been a need to increase space. Management is aware and working on solutions/sharing information when possible.

Pros

MetroStar gives you an opportunity for a career and not just a job. The work is innovative, challenging and the energy is contagious. Amazing people work at MetroStar and people genuinely enjoy coming to work. MetroStar genuinely cares for its employees and continues to research and find ways to improve.

Cons

Because of the innovation and high standards everyone has for themselves and the team, laziness is identified quickly. Therefore, the environment may not be best suited for anyone happy with status quo. With constant high growth, processes continually need to be updated and followed by ALL team members. Due to the continued growth of the company, more work space is needed...Not a bad problem to have actually. Sometimes MetroStar cares too much about its employees.
