You can move up quickly if you're under qualified.

Cons

Under qualified technical staff, unorganized, awful program and contract management, bullies in management, unnecessary overtime hours due to their poor planning.

Pros

Great federal projects coming in, Wellness wednesdays, good training and on-the-job learning programs for employees, great technology, good office-space, decent cultural events.

Cons

Don't waste precious years of your career spending time at a company that does not appreciate your work. Promotions in this company are based on a number of "suspicious" parameters versus merit or talent. The company also lacks diversity - very male dominated and has very little racial diversity. Senior management is behind all the "overwhelmingly positive" reviews that you're reading on here. They only like people who are "yes-men" - one negative thing said and you are sure to be sidelined.

Pros

If I would have described the best reasons to be at MSS in the beginning the list would have been long. Now that I know better the one good thing I could say is I was paid on time.

Cons

No support from upper management, no cell phone reimbursement yet you were expected to use yours, no mileage reimbursement, CEO that goes on rants, expectations not expressed by upper management until you don't live up to them, resources removed from projects at the whim of upper management, no work live balance yet that is their claim, no respect of your knowledge and the reason they said they hired you for, very "frat boy" mentality, and lack of experience by upper management.
