Pros

401k dollar for dollar match up to 6%, T-Mobiles phone discount, health benefits are fantastic, get to take company truck home. Bonuses are nice if they get handed out.

Cons

When Metronet acquired Vexus, you’d expect Metronet leadership to guide the Texas market. Instead, Vexus leadership was left in charge, which has created noticeable favoritism—salary bumps and promotions have almost exclusively gone to former Vexus employees. The current director lacks strong leadership and leaves many questioning the direction of the Texas operation. Supervisors are expected to be available nearly 24/7, even though this is never clearly stated. You’re expected to work through outages regardless of the day, remain on call unless you’re on vacation, and even PTO often comes with interruptions. Work-life balance is essentially non-existent. Leadership in Texas fosters a replaceable mindset. The director’s go-to phrase—“why don’t we just fire them”—reflects how little value is placed on retaining and supporting employees. This culture drives disengagement and uncertainty about the company’s future in the region. Lastly, pay is outrageously terrible for the people that matter the most, supervisors, techs, NFTs.

Pros

They like to send gift cards. They like to do monthly sales incentives for Amazon gift cards.

Cons

OH MY GOSH! If I could go back in time & never apply, I would! I should've known from my supervisor being changed before I even started that this was going to be a RIDE! In a year & a half my small team went through 3 supervisors. I personally went through 1 change of hands from one supervisor to another. The team lead was promoted & became my supervisor. He was MESSSYYYY! Like telling me & other associates that whoever was getting fired soon for having too many points, or because they kept running to HR on him, or just that their stats weren't good & they were old & slow. They don't give sick time, so don't work here if you have young kids that we all know are prone to getting sick, or if you are prone to getting sick. They are currently going through a merger with T-Mobile, and everything for the customer care department is in limbo. No one "knows" anything. They're closing storefronts down left & right not giving ample notice & making the storefront employees clean the storefronts out.
