Sandpoint is a great store and location; the customers make the job so much better than most.

Cons

As with any grocery store, union pay rates and the hours can be daunting, but if you are vocal and respectful to your managers they can help a lot.

A leader who lacks character or integrity; managers often:show lack of performance; poor communication; self serving nature; “my way or the highway” leadership styles; Lack of Focus and Follow-Through; Leaders satisfied with the status quo; Leaders not attuned to the needs of the market; Leaders and favorite employees not accountable; leaders not focused; lacking vision. Lack of training, coaching, mentoring. No career advancement opportunities, unless you know someone inside the company. Company encourages employees to hire their relatives or friends which creates conflict towards good employees.
