Many departments to chose to work for. Always busy, lots to learn, awesome experience. But there is no work-life balance, compensation is getting worse every year.

Cons

Due to budget cuts, your salary can be reduced from one year to the next. Not stable for job or career growth.

Cons

Little mobility, very bureaucratic. Hiring is based a lot on friends and family. Culture is stagnant and unchanging unless change in management.
