Wish we had a better Manager for our Program

We are able to assist victims of crime and are fortunate to help whenever we can in mass casualty events. I take pride in my job, being able to help my victims not feel like their alone. I do my best helping victims and giving the tools to try and avoid being a victim again, by sending or giving them tips on how to remain vigilant and observant. Helping them understand the little things they can do to not put themselves into a bad area or situation.

Cons

Wish our program manager cared about her victim advocates more and really worked harder for us to be able to perform our jobs better. I wish our program manager would fight for us to receive a higher and fairer salary, as we make the least salary in Miami-Dade County, compared to all of the other law enforcement victim advocates in our County and we even work 2/3rds more cases, than all other victim advocates.
