      Pros

      Very flexible with schedule to allow sufficient course load and studying time. Work often with experienced full-time staff who are very helpful during training. Very positive attitude and teamwork during rushes of business that can be stressful.

      Cons

      Sometimes you will encounter unappreciative students who are not very friendly to student workers. Commonly experience stressful periods of rush time and boring periods of down time.

      Pros

      Working for one of the dining halls was a great experience. The pay was the highest of any student workers on campus at the time, the hours were very flexible in terms of scheduling around classes, and there was opportunity to be promoted to manager position if you wanted to put in the work. Really easy work, for decent pay. If you are a go-with-the-flow and get your work done kind of person, it's a good place to be.

      Cons

      Not great if you don't like working with people. Teamwork and customer service required no matter where you were placed for that shift. Lots of walking/lifting/standing, although the shifts were short. Could get stressful on days when there were big events and lots of people coming in to eat.

      Pros

      The people are really smart! Beautiful environment. Great work ethic all around.

      Cons

      Rather "old-school", for example, more hierarchical that other universities or modern organizations offices.
