      Pros

      Great pay, great bennies, great people to work with. Great culture on the campus. Where you work may have some difference in what you experience, but 90 percent of the folks I see seem to be happy with their jobs here. People stay forever. That means to me that it is good to work here. It is not super easy to get in, as many jobs stay internal, but more skilled positions go external which means anyone can apply. Just be sure you meet their minimum requirements or qualifications, otherwise your resume will not get past the human resources department.

      Cons

      Parking can be busy sometimes, with long walks to place of employ. Winter is a bear in MI. And when will the overall US economy offer us less than 40 hour full-time work weeks? Just dreaming.

      Clear advancement structure, Work with your class schedule, you can become good friends with co-workers

      Cons

      Student supervisors that take themselves too seriously, Full-time Middle-management that treat you as expendable fodder, no overtime/strict hours kept, not forgiving with incidental absences or tardiness
