Pros

•Paid holidays. •They sell cool tech products.

Cons

•Management’s idea of training is follow this guy around and thats it you’re on your own. •Full time position but your hours change as if you were part time. •A commission based position for sales but they have you cleaning the store everyday and unloading a huge commercial truck for $4 an hour. (Slave labor) •Sleazy salesman tactics throughout the entire store. •Constant theft because they don’t believe in proper security for the store. •Bad communication between management and the employees regarding procedures/protocols. •Constant turnover •They don’t pay you to train new workers but expect you to train them anyway •They have no loyalty to their employees. Worked here for a little over a year and generated over a million dollars in revenue with no incidences just to be let go over a $5k loss to the business.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. We recognize that retail scheduling, with its varied shift times driven by customer demand, can present challenges to work-life balance, and we aim to provide flexibility where possible. Our General Sales associates do have a base rate of $4.00 per hour. However, their total earnings consider both their commission and base pay to determine their hourly rate over a two-week pay period. Right now, our General Sales associates are averaging about $21.00 per hour throughout the company. We continuously evaluate compensation structures and are committed to offering competitive wages and benefits, including commission opportunities that can significantly impact overall earnings. Your feedback is valuable, and we will take it into consideration as we review our store policies and procedures. We're committed to continuous improvement and encourage you to reach out to share specific details so we can address concerns directly. Best - Jennifer Rex - Senior HR Generalist – 614.850.3250

Pros

Biggest pro is the fact that the company seems to genuinely care about the customers. They will go out of their way to make their customers happy. Most of the people you work with are great too and seem to genuinely care about their jobs. Even as high as executive level management, they make time for people and try to grow those around them.

Cons

Some in direct management roles seem to only be there to collect a paycheck. They are stuck in old ways, refuse to adapt their processes for a fast growing field and want the benefits of having power over others, but not the responsibility that comes with it. These same people talk about people behind their back and force a fake smile to the people they speak poorly of. They lie about production challenges, makeup fake deadlines to sit around and play mobile games on their phones and in more extreme cases, fall asleep at their desks. HR leadership is also a complete mess. For a group of people of elder age, they act very childish. They do not mind name calling, and will impede your movement around the office to force you to interact with them. If they feel slighted, they will even deny raises. HR at most other companies are designed for you to feel safe when speaking to them, but here it simply induces dread. Any issue brought up to HR is instead blamed against you and you'll simply have to deal with it. Even the VP of HR will call you a liar to your face when seeking remediation during conflicting instructions given during COVID instead of giving employees the benefit of the doubt and approaching subjects from a neutral position. This exact jaded mentality is why others are leaving reviews referencing the performance of HR in particular. Bad middle management is one thing that can be easily addressed, but poor HR leadership is far too compounding to resolve. These same people that will call you a liar and blame you directly are the same people that will ask why you did not come to them to resolve disputes.

Thank you for sharing your perspective on your time with us and we truly appreciate your service. As far as HR leadership, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and will take them to heart as I'm sure you've also reflected on the situations that you speak of. I'm sorry you decided to resign due to a dispute with your leadership team before they could help you with a resolution. Best of luck to you as you begin another endeavor. Sincerely, Angie Miller VP-HR
