Thank you for the great review and 5 stars! As you know Micro Center's guiding principles, "the Gear", are the foundation to our success. The store in Marietta was opened in 1988 and was the first Micro Center location outside of Columbus. That being said the Marrietaa store continues to grow and serve the community with its world-class customer service. Associates like yourself who embrace our principles of taking care of the customer, merchandise, and culture, are a big reason for our continued success in Marietta, GA. I want to thank you for your commitment to the challenges of being a front-line associate. Best of luck with your new adventure. Greg Nicolai - Regional Human Resources Manager - 513-344-8018

Pros

It is a commission job so if by chance it is busy, you have to potential to make good money.

Cons

The job is commission-based, so you don't make good money if people are not coming in. There is no set schedule unless you agree only to do closes. They don't like closing for bad weather. The current manager can and will mess up your schedule every week and will be stressed to get it corrected every week.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. I would encourage you to speak with your RSM or General Manager regarding your schedule frustrations. Micro Center is a commissioned sales model offering an unlimited earning potential, the average Sales Associate makes 25.79 an hour company-wide. With every company, there are slow and busy times and as we go into the holiday season, you will see an uptick in business sales. If you feel that the communication is inconsistent or have concerns, Micro Center has an Open Door Policy, each store has a poster explaining the Open Door process with the necessary contact information for associates to reach out for assistance. You can also contact your Regional HR Manager directly or ask them for some time when they are in your store. I will be in the Denver office next week, if you would like to discuss your concerns further. Thank you for your feedback as It is important to us. Cheryl T. Regional HR Manager.

Thank you for your sharing your thoughts with us. We are glad you liked your time with Micro Center and enjoyed your co-workers. I will be more than happy to discuss the overall organization of the NJ management team with them. I am not sure what you mean by "no favor for old". Sincerely, Leslie Whitley, Regional HR.
