      Good pay for hard work, but hard work may go unnoticed.

      Pros

      If you sell heavily and get your sticker on everything out the door, you'll be rewarded with good pay. Pays better than most retailers out there. Fun to interact with people and a well managed work environment.

      Cons

      No room for improvement. Management determines your growth in the company, not your hard work. Inconsistent pay, depending on the season, you'll get paid more or less.

      Pros

      It's a nice place to start, In other retail environments i didn't even feel like it was possible to move. In micro center it's an expanding business and moving around the store or through stores if need be is possible. It's not just about selling the most expensive stuff, It's about getting the customer what they need and if they don't want it then your not going to have your hours cut to nothing cause of it.

      Cons

      Passing the buck or favorites are played in multiple stores, If this was fixed it'd be a much better place. It's commission on the floor and certain people are fighter jets over it. Current Scheduling system is eh.

      Pros

      None that I can honestly report - it used to be a good company. Insurance was good.

      Cons

      Salaries are not competitive, corporate headquarters location discriminates against people with disabilities, people of color and women.

      Unfortunately, this post contains many inaccuracies as this associate was not terminated due to a disability. She requested several accommodations which were granted. Over time, she was not able to come to work and exhausted all of her leave. She submitted a resignation letter and we worked out a transition to assist her since she had been employed for over 10 years. We work very hard to maintain a professional work environment and I'm sorry that this associate feels differently.
