      Pros

      Micro Center is a great place to work. The customers coming into the store new what they wanted and were pleased with the expertise they received

      Cons

      Supervisors playing favorites and not holding everyone to the same level. Associates calling off of work every other day and leaving someone else to pick up the slack.

      Pros

      MC has an excellent culture. I have never worked with more people that feel like family. Unlike most companies in the consumer electronic industry, they value their employees and see each one of them as an asset. Senior management always supported me, and helped in challenging times.

      Cons

      While the size of the company allows them to do things larger companies don't, there is very limited growth potential. They have an excellent training program, but are not expanding very quickly. I have often felt like I was waiting for someone to retire for a chance at a promotion. The only chance I had was to relocate, and the choices in locations are slim. Benefits could also be better. Part time employees no longer receive benefits at all.
