      Pros

      The benefits are on par with Fortune 500 companies. There's vacation days. Your told your schedule two weeks ahead of time. Education opportunities can get you a job in Desktop Support, Network Administration, or Security Engineering. And it's one bus ride away from a community college.

      Cons

      Extreme amount of advertising warranty. The warranties increase the time for reviewing and buying an item. No matter how fast employee is, when you tell a customer about a plan, a lot of questions are going to be asked. The over abundance of advertisement practically invites employees to be cursed out every other day.

      Pros

      MicroCenter is the kind of place you want to work if you love being around computers. That's what they sell, the salespersons are all rather knowledgable so it's easy to support the sale from a Customer Service standpoint. Fair benefits package at 6 months even for part-time, employee discount is very competitive with other electronics retailers.

      Cons

      The stores are kinda dingy, the pay is so-so, and the pressure to sell 'extended warranties' that people already decide they want or don't want is high – there is commission on those for even cashiers, though.
