Pros

Employee discount varies depending on the brand Barely any discount on Apple products

Cons

You get paid $4.00 an hour plus 1.5 or 1.8% commission The store doesn't open until 10am you still get paid $4.00 an hour if your scheduled for a 7/8/9 am shift which is not good because there's no way of selling if the store is closed. the company should be paying employees that work before 10am shifts an hourly rate. The Brooklyn Store is very very dusty and dirty and has Rats. Don't want to give employees that work a Full time hours Full time benefits and keep the employee under part time with part time benefits. Coupons are annoying because if the customer uses a $50 off coupon you only get the commission of the remaining balance of the products Need more Female sales associates The Brooklyn store is sexist against females as in promoting them to other departments that nots General sales System employees barely work General sales have to put away over 5 rack of merchandise every Tuesday Thursday and Friday for $4.00 an hour the Brooklyn store barely has any room for merchandise so everything is over cluttered and messy and disorganized

Our Brooklyn store has been completely reset and we are looking forward to additional retailers moving into our building. We have several new managers including a new General Manager. Our Regional HR Manager is in the building at least once a week if there are issues that need to be addressed. Our goal is to make your work experience a positive one and it appears there were issues that did not get addressed before you left. I hope you will contact me directly at 614-850-3151 to discuss your concerns. Angie Miller VP - HR

Almost a good job

Pros

Some good managers at the store level. You will learn a lot if you put in the effort. Pay isn't bad for retail, but very inconsistent. If you work harder, you will make more money. You can work as much as you want. Management doesn't have to work a million hours a week like most retail.

Cons

-Some disconnect at the corporate level. -Declining pay. -Managers are underpaid. -No real path to management without taking pay cut. -Brutally wild swing in shift hours. (they have improved on this some with no more clopens). -Sales staff is always given tons of projects to do and not enough time to do them in. Which means the time you are suppose to spend helping customers and earning commission dollars, you instead have to spend on some menial task. Then they harp on customer service scores and surveys when customers rightly complain they can't get help. It's a bit ridiculous. Sales staff should specialize in and focus on selling and taking care of customers. Not running around doing project after project at $4 an hour. -Sales staff spends at or over 1/4 of their scheduled hours during non-sales hours.

Pros

Co-workers(not anyone from home office) all try to help one another the best we can. You get experience on repairing computers. Its a good first step in your tech career.

Cons

The job got converted to tech position with no extra pay and you are expected to do all your original duties plus the work of two other jobs with out any kind of raise. On top of that got told if I don’t like it I could find another place to work. They won’t hire more staff help with the work load. There is no room for advancement. You basically have to wait for people who have been with the company since it was first created to retire if want a promotion.
