      Pros

      Had friendly and awesome coworkers while working at Micro Center. Some of the managers were friendly and not afraid to crack a joke with other associates.

      Cons

      The main focus seemed more towards making sales percentages and numbers instead of taking care of the customers and their own employees. Some managers and employees didn't seem to get along with one another. Every department was understaffed most of the time.

      Pros

      WorK at a tech store with workers who are passionate and knowledgeable about technology. Good employee discounts and insurance plans on items. Job offers benefits. Staff is very friendly, literally feels like a second family. Get commission from each plan you sell.

      Cons

      Sometimes it feels as though the company cares about their numbers and how you're benefiting towards it. Absolutely no sense of job security. It's really hard to move up and sometimes the people that do get promoted makes absolutely no sense. Lot of pressure and emphasis on getting customers email addresses. They say all they want you to do is ask but if your email percentage is low they'll get on your back about it as if you're not asking. Customers are horrible but that's with any retail job.

      Pros

      The Employee discount is nice. Certain times of year your friends and family are able to take full advantage of this discount as well.

      Cons

      Sometimes there is simply too much work to get done in a single day, and yes although we get paid mostly on commission sometimes you really are working for $4.00 an hour.
