Pros

Coming from a larger, more regulated global company, with larger more sophisticated infrastructure systems, the biggest pro to me is that the place feels more like a small business. Very flat organizationally so not a lot of layers to get to the decision makers (which is yourself most of the time). Everyone has been very helpful. Ownership of your area is a fundamental principal here, so accountability is built into the culture. You are allowed to be very self-reliant but not in an isolating kind of way. You are also encouraged to try new things and if they don't work it's OK. Mistakes are not held over you, the past is the past and the focus of this company is on the future.

Cons

Being a smaller company, a few of the benefits are not quite at the level I was used to but will be very adequate for many. There are also benefits that many other companies don't have like store discounts. The physical environment is no frills and outdated but perfectly adequate to do your job.
