Thanks for the review! We're glad you find the employee purchase program beneficial. We acknowledge your suggestion about Sunday breaks for CSRs. Micro Center schedules breaks based on hours worked, and we'll ensure CSR break times align with this policy across all departments. We're committed to employee well-being and will consider adjustments if necessary. Thank you for your feedback! Best - Jennifer Rex - Senior HR Generalist – 614.850.3250

Pros

Micro Center has been my favorite store to visit for a long time now and working here has not hampered my excitement to walk in the door everyday any. I truly look forward to each and every day and the challenges that come with this field of work.

Cons

I received little to no training in the areas that mattered most. the astea/putty system is not only dated it is awful to use. I was not given the tools to succeed both physically and mentally and that was extremely difficult to navigate.

Pros

The benefits of working here full time are great. They have a good education reimbursement program but there's a catch on some of the other benefits. The work is relatively easy especially when it comes to starting out. The PTO that is given to you is reasonable but there are some exceptions with that system like blackout dates during major holidays will be denied which are understandable given the nature of the retail business they supply.

Cons

The health care is middle of the road - sometimes doesn't cover things that are needed, example prescriptions or specialists. Compensation is lower than the average for warehouse position (typical is between $17-21/hr). There's a high turnover rate. Even if they don't tell you this during an interview or not it's there. Sometimes they pick favorites when it comes to employees. Bonuses wind up bringing starting pay to what other companies may offer for the same job but the bonus opportunities are only during certain peak times and aren't always available to all.
