Pros

good culture and great middle management at least in the bethel microcenter. Employee discounts are pretty strong depending on the item (keycaps and drinks can be more then 50% off depending on manufacture markup.). Frequent bonus opportunities, and decent room to grow into a GS.

Cons

some stress on selling plans but that's the job. Wish employees were not barred from buying items in limited stock. Somewhat strict on being tardy, which can happen even if you arrive in store on time due to office computers being slow to boot.

Bethel Rd. truly lives the gear, by taking care of the customer, store, and merchandise. Also, Bethel does an excellent job of hiring great associates like yourself and preparing them for growth opportunities as they are available. Selling plans is a part of the job, but the fact that you get additional compensation for selling the plans allows for an unlimited earning potential. Pressure on Email Retention: There's a significant emphasis on collecting customer emails, and failing to meet targets can have immediate consequences, adding to the job's stress. Promotion Structure: Advancement to managerial positions such as Floor Manager often results in increased duties without commensurate improvements in job quality or satisfaction.
