Pros

I met some nice people. The pay was pretty good.

Cons

In QA the people didn't really understand what/why they were doing something. I never saw a test plan or had testing meetings with the developers. Often after finding an issue a developer would ask QA how to reproduce, but QA had no idea because all of the testing was automated. No one knew how the tests worked. In the 2 years I worked there I didn't really learn anything about being a QA. I maybe worked 2 hours in an 8 hour day. That is how it is for most people. Lots of slacking off. I am so glad I was fired early. Now I am at a real software company and am learning real skills.

Pros

I was new to software world and this was my first full-time job out of college. It really prepared me for a successful career in software and data. Lots of other young people when I joined who became good friends.

Cons

Its an old school hierarchical org where promotions and raises are based on tenure more than competence and ambition. Anyone young with ambition will inevitably have to quit.

Pros

Great place to work Smart people in the company so you learn a lot Good work life balance Very good product growing company

Cons

Compensation Growth is very structured even if your performance is superb (i.e. promotion every 2 years on an average)
