The last three months 15 people were fired or laid off. The new president only wants yes people on his team. Budgets are cut, people are micromanaged and There is no HR support.

Pros

They really care about making co-ops into useful members of the team and taking them seriously as professionals. I was able to take ownership of a project in my first rotation, and my opinion was values on my colleagues' projects.

Cons

I had a trans coworker, a fellow co-op who was misgendered a LOT. I didn't know him well, so I'm not sure whether there was miscommunication or malice, but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth. My close coworkers were very nice to me, but I suppose I was trying to be a man at the time.
