Not worth the money - APRN, FNP-C Midwest Express Clinic Employee Review

Pros

Working 3 days a week. Good experience, lots to learn

Cons

Like many reviews have said, management offered incentives for employees to leave good reviews- so I would take them with a grain of salt. MEC was good when the ceo was still running things, when he stepped out and the mean girls ( CM girls) took over a lot of people became unhappy. Seeing 60+ patients a shift is not safe, nor should be allowed accidents have and will continue to happen. HR is actually a joke, they are not helpful at all, especially the one who oversees the Indiana clinics- don’t bother even messaging her, or ask her for anything- message her superior; she’s is WAY more competent. Money is good, but it’s not the best considering there’s basically no benefits offered, only 72 hours of PTO a year ( 6 days).

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your experience with us. We understand your concern with patient volume and staffing. Volumes have increased in the last several months; however they remained consistent and manageable for all of our providers for the majority of 2023. We appreciate your dedication to providing quality care to our patients. We apologize if you feel that there are issues with our Human Resources team. We strive to respond in a timely matter and with accurate information. We understand the importance of work-life balance and will review your concerns about PTO. We ensure this aligns with the expectations set, as benefits are discussed on several occasions during the hiring process. Your feedback is valuable and will help to create a more empathetic and supportive work environment. We apologize if you feel that there are issues with our Human Resources team. Pros

I’ve been with Midwest Express Clinic for about 3 years, and it’s been a great experience. The company has a diverse and welcoming environment where employees are treated like part of a family. It’s refreshing to work for an organization that genuinely values teamwork, respect, and providing quality care to patients. One of the biggest strengths of the company is its upper management. They are approachable, supportive, and willing to listen to employee feedback. You can tell they care about the success of both the clinics and the people who work there, and they do a great job of creating a positive work environment. The HR team has also been excellent to work with. They’re professional, responsive, and always willing to help with questions or concerns. They’ve made onboarding, communication, and employee support a smooth process. Overall, I’m grateful to be part of Midwest Express Clinic and would recommend it to anyone looking for a positive, team-oriented workplace with strong leadership and opportunities to grow.

Cons

None that I could think of!
