Pros

1. I’ve met a few great people 2. I’ve made good money in relation to other people 3. I’ve learned a lot about life from a few people

Cons

1. Corporate is all about politics: If you speak your mind, you either get in trouble or they act like they care but do nothing 2. Working during the winter is hell: Snow and Ice on almost every Car that you are required to spray completely off so get used to ice shards and snow getting all over your body, Close to 0 degrees outside, and almost always understaffed so enjoy having to freeze your fingers and toes off. 3. Corporate acts like this job’s pay is amazing...spoiler alert: it’s not. Some people have worked at Mikes their entire life and have no POV other than Mikes so if you offer a unique perspective it will get shut down. You’re better off working at UPS or any other retail job that pays more than 9$. 4. Management knows nothing with the exception of a few people: They are given minimal training and then thrown into the battle to make the company look good by “filling positions” when the candidates aren’t qualified. 5. CEO is extremely rude and is money hungry 6. Expected to strictly follow customer engagement models. Example: have a great day is not an acceptable send off, you must say something along the lines of, thanks for stopping at mikes, we’ll make sure to get your car all cleaned up. Customer’s don’t want robots, they want genuine human interaction but corporate is oblivious and stubborn to change. 7. 95% of the employees, mainly management spread gossip like a wildfire. Be careful what you say. The amount of power hungry people within this company is absurd and will go to upper management instead of tell it to your face because they are too scared to tell you. 8. Unrealistic goals are set for you and if you fail to reach them then you will suffer the consequences. 9. Have fun scrubbing the walls for 8 hours on a rain day.

Pros

They hire good people. Room for growth. Great training program. Expanding Market.

Cons

Corporate Micromanagement. Do NOT work out of market. Bonus structure and the company goals that determine those contradict one another. High pressure and follow-up to make sure employees fill out surveys to make the company look good. "Best places to work". Company will constantly stress things like "good pay" and "great values" simply because they're not true. Pay does not reflect the level work and income you bring to the company. "Take pride in your ride." (Visit your locations and see what the customers actually want)

Pros

Always something to do, great training, and friendly atmosphere. Always in the sun in the summertime. Always hours to be had in the winter.

Cons

Pay is just above min. wage. Which would be ok if you weren't doing strenuous manual labor in the winter. Lots of nickel and diming you out of money on your check. Repeatedly changing pay scales and bonuses. They promote a family friendly business, but if you have a family it will lead to separation or divorce. They would rather you be single and work you until you're broken. Pay increases are extremely laughable.
