Get to work alongside a major tech company (Google, Facebook etc)

Cons

Most of the team is drowning. Expectations are unreasonable and don't expect a great work-life balance. Teams are constantly asking for help and managers aren't equipped with the tools to help. Leadership tries to stay too high level and doesn't worry about the coordinators. Don't come here expecting to grow, you will not. Instead you will end up just getting frustrated .

Pros

> Pay is is slightly competitive being a few dollars above minimum wage. For an entry level position I guess that's cool. > Co-workers make the job somewhat bearable.

Cons

> Management is an absolute travesty: People moving up who shouldn't be, People who clearly deserve to be promoted being turned down because the amount of favoritism that goes in the company is unreal. > The 3 weeks of training for this position was an absolute joke, there is A LOT to learn and the trainers will leave you in the dust if you can't keep up. > The job itself is a nightmare, 8/10 calls you get will be some entitled old person who thinks they're smarter or 'more experienced' than you, and you're stuck dealing with that for the next 45 min - 2 hrs. This has to be the most draining/depressing position I have ever worked.

The phone, chat, and email agents are the lifeblood of this company. They will become your best friend, and your lifeboat. Free food, but goes quickly. You'll randomly get gift cards for great performance.

Cons

Nepotism is rampant. Agents not treated with respect. Severely lacking communication. You will not get promoted if you stick up for coworkers. No raises. Write-ups over ridiculous things. They favor hiring men into positions recently.
