Pros

Insurance and other benefits are good in comparison with the building materials industry. Milgard enjoys great long-standing relationships with their customers.

Cons

Milgard is in the midst of a culture change from a decentralized management structure to a central corporate structure. As a result, they are losing the feeling of family and loyalty

Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! You are absolutely correct that Milgard is going through a cultural shift at this time. With this comes some change which can be difficult at times, but we believe this shift will help us realign with our customers to maintain our outstanding reputation as a great company and industry leader.

Pros

I really enjoyed working with the hard-working, knowledgeable people on the project teams who worked very professionally to exceed the project goals.

Cons

Management doesn't have a clue as to what is necessary to successfully run a project. Company has turned away from Market-Driven products, Directors lie to management to save face, plants are running rouge when it comes to folowing quality practices, MPS performance system it totally misaligned, complicated and meaningless in creating needed change - it's soul purpose is to find a way to restrict hard-working people from getting bonuses. Milgard'sManagement short-sightedness is lending to it's dimise - they just laid off another 100 employess right before Christmas.
