      Pros

      Job duties are very clear, and this is a performance oriented workplace.

      Cons

      Although job duties and goals are clear, and this is a performance oriented employer (which is great if you are not a slacker)...politics still rule here, and the butt kissers seem to get further even if they don't do a good job. But...that is prettty standard no matter where you work.

      Pros

      Commitment to personal development and opportunities for advancement. There is a lot of focus on teams. People generally work well together and there is a lot of support across job functions. The attitude is do whatever it takes to get the job done. There is a great philosophy of accountability and continuous improvement.

      Cons

      There are a lot of long hours because the company runs lean and this can make it difficult to find a good work/life balance. Oftentimes politics get in the way of getting the job done in the best manner. With the struggling economy and suffering housing industry the company has been in a cycle of layoffs and plant closures which contributes to a lack of job security.
