      Milgard treats their employees fairly and provides a chance to grow with the company. They are concerned about safety and build a quality product with great service.

      Cons

      Slowdown in the building sector has created the need for creative ideas to provide qualtiy products at competitive prices. The company has made good buisiness improvements, but in order to keep costs down, many positions have been lost.

      CONSTANTLY downsizing. been demoted once due to lay offs BUT I was able to remain employed

      Pros

      People are pretty nice and try to be helpful. Good discount on product.

      Cons

      Disorganized. Benefits are not great. Time-off is below average. No room to be creative or have your ideas heard. Very strict corporate atmosphere. Senior managers create a lot of useless "busy work" that do nothing but keep you from doing your actual job. OK if you are looking for a job but not good for a career.
