Pros

Really nice people, easy to work with, gave me things that challenged me and allowed me to learn but also that helped make me feel like I was having an effect.

Cons

Didn't end up wanting to go into finance, but I can't blame that on the experience I had at Milliman.

Pros

There are no pros of working here. It's basically a place where people in upper-management are allowed to yell at anyone they want (seriously).

Cons

Another reviewer of the Seattle office hit the nail on the head... Management/execs are very controlling, abusive, and manipulative. It's common to hear yelling and screaming behind closed doors. What happens? Nothing. HR pretends they don't hear it, even though they do (they gossip about it all the time). It's honestly a disgusting place to work. There is zero career growth. Execs get fat bonuses and large paychecks. Not so much for everyone else. There is absolutely zero diversity in upper-management. It is almost 100% all white males above the age of 50. There are close to zero people of color in the company in general, let alone in upper-management. And all of the people that are people of color are 1-2 years out of undergrad. People lie all the time. Again, it's mostly upper-management/execs, but upper-management is a reflection of the company image so that's pretty bad. Most members of upper-management work like 4 hour days before heading home (9am-1pm). Everybody at this company, including management and HR knows how bad it is, but no one cares to change it. I would never recommend anyone work here.
