Pros
Hybrid work and some flexibility with start and end times as long as you aren’t working on a priority project. Good pay for the area. 100% of 6% 401K match with a bonus 3% at the end of the year.
Cons
Can be high stress. High workload, peers are very competitive as promotions, bonuses, and raises must be limited within groups instead of true merit based compensation. It’s a specialized field which makes taking your skills elsewhere for competitive salary matching impossible.
