Great Company until the acquisition
Pros
I really like the people I met in Mimecast and the team culture overall, after spending time with different departments I can feel the camaraderie. The product is amazing and makes me really proud to say that I work for Mimecast. I also enjoy the hybrid role and the flexibility the company offers. I absolutely love how resourceful the company is, I've learned a lot using Mimecast University. The benefits and basic compensation aren't too bad, although base pay could be a bit better we have a good private health care plan which also includes dentist.
Cons
Communication has always been a massive issue specially when it comes from the leadership (Directors or C-Level roles) as in my opinion it sometimes lacks consistency and direction. On the payment & promotion side it seems like the company could offer a little more to equal the market. Career path clarity can be very weak at times too. The company had a few layoffs recently which unfortunately reflects on personal anxiety, as it contributes to concerns about long-term stability.
