Pros

• Some talented, collaborative colleagues across UX, P&E, and GTM. • Opportunities to lead impactful initiatives but are really playing catch-up to competitors. • Some supportive managers & Directors who prioritize trust and autonomy. • Good stepping stone for honing product leadership skills in complex, multi-product environments.

Cons

• Leadership misalignment: lack of clear long-term strategy, and inconsistent communication. • The current (new) CPTO is virulent & does not hide that he does not trust the team, insists on responding to Reddit comments & appeasing the Sales org, instead of also fixing the foundation of what the company offers in P&E. His responses or comments to employees in his org that are not part of his inner circle are always condescending and garrulous. • Top-down decision making with little transparency, which undermines trust. • Innovation often overshadowed by politics and constant “re-prioritization.” • Workload imbalance: high-performing individuals are burning out because accountability is not properly distributed. • Acquisitions are integrated inconsistently, leading to fragmented user experiences and internal friction. • Morale is low due to "silent" layoffs and unclear direction. • Boys Club mentality amongst senior leaders that's trickling down t

Pros

- Office food and amenities (coffee bar, good catered lunch, free beer, rooftop lounge etc.) - awesome people to work alongside, make friends of all walks of life - good entry level experience - legacy name for resume experience - sales incentives throughout the year - good health insurance/ work life balance

Cons

- "frat bro" culture - your given territory and segment size will LARGELY determine your actual earnings and performance - territory alignment will also dictate the products you pitch/ meetings booked - Extremely disorganized leadership teams - lots of unfulfilled promises ex. travel opportunities, promotion timelines and expectations, in office mandates (RTO), career progression - a "line" to get promoted and move up in the ranks - low base pay - constant turnover - pointless meetings that could've been an email - Disorganized tech stack and systems - SalesForce database, the primary driver of your territory is AWFUL, out of date and often causes territory issues, AE alignment etc. - Extreme push of AI use for numerous tasks that don't need the use of AI - multiple executives, sr. directors and managers abruptly leave
