      Pros

      Hardworking people, good benefits, yoga onsite, nice remodeled offices, decent enough hardware, located in beautiful SLO

      Cons

      Product is a headache and code is all over the place; Middle AND Senior management are the worst I've worked for; most people at MINDBODY are homegrown and don't know the correct way to do things; total comp is well below market; talented people don't stay at MINDBODY for long because there are better local jobs to be had remotely, in Santa Barbara, SF, and LA. If you want to grow quickly and can play nice with less skilled/experienced employees, there is good potential to grow here.... I'm counting the days until I can get back to a real workplace

      Top Heavy Senior Leadership (Directors, VP, Executive) Too much managing up, not enough managing down Lack of operational direction & strategy Convenient ignorance to front-line problems Leaders lack career development skills Projects aren't organized & aligned; lack view from a team or customer perspective Quality team members leaving due to stress Not all teams are staffed to handle workload HR is wonderful but they cannot help you Employee surveys are good in thought but pointless when feedback is ignored

      I was in sales for over a year and the other was absolutely no career growth. it's not that I didn't want to but I wasn't able to, I tried so hard but unless your working 60+ hours a week it's not possible, save your time and energy and stay away. The company come from as great but you son learn that the software isn't that great and the only business worth selling are the ones that come to the company, which you will have no oppourtunity with. There are so many sketchy things that go on in the department with no consequences. Reps cheat all the time to get ahead and ar only rewarded for it. Something at this company has to give. The
