Pros

Benefits are pretty decent, facilities are nice, perks are ok but not as good as they use to be. A decent job if you are right out of college to start your career and if you have the right skills it can lead to management opportunities.

Cons

Oh where to start! This company changes direction like the wind. Way to many changes and way to often. Constant price changes, software changes, management changes and grew to fast to properly scale. Management doesn't seem to have a real plan when making changes and it has been this way for many years. Where are the real leaders? Way too reactive and not proactive enough. The outcomes are ridiculous as the results lead to upset clients and staff. Turnover is out of control with senior management leaving along with sales reps and lots of people are talking negatively all the time and it is not good. Most sales reps are making much less money than they use to and find it much harder than ever to find quality businesses to sell to as the market is saturated with tons of competition and what is left to pitch are cancelled clients that don't want to come back. The SDR’s are also struggling to support the sales reps and management knows this but nothing is changing. Marketing leads hardly exist these days. The business processes are so overcomplicated it frustrates staff. Salesforce is a complete mess. The amount of clicks it takes and in many cases approvals it takes to close a deal is insane for a software company that is trying to leverage technology to save time and money. Was hoping Vista can improve these processes soon but so far its getting worse. They have made some policy changes in the past with out any notice on more than one occasion and as recently changed commission structure with out notice. Not good! Management always will try to have an answer and Rick is a decent salesman but most people see through his BS and the damage is done. They hired way to many sales people and there is not enough business to go around. It all about metrics today and most of the metrics are BS and reps easily can put up bogus number just to please a RSM. In the end they don’t care and have sad just move on if you are not happy in the past. The company is famous for saying one thing and doing another. They preach core values but hardly follow them. I could go on and on but hopefully you get the idea.

Pros

The people at MINDBODY are the pulse of the organization, they have done well hiring talent.

Cons

On a operations standpoint, this is the worst company I have worked for. The day to day tasks are tedious and in the stone age, along with their lead distribution. They have created a toxic environment in concerns to how reps must fight over the few valuable leads in the system. The protocol for inbound lead distribution is even more alarming, it is set up for gargantuan favoritism. Polices are only enforced on a case by case situation, again leading to favoritism that has ruined the morale and culture. They center many of the changes and operations around the the core values, yet the way they operate goes against all of the core values.

Pros

Flexible Wellness Card You can wear what you want Employees(most)

Cons

This list could go on for days, but some other reviewers hit it on the head. - NO professionalism - Everyone is constantly talking about whether they are quitting that day - Pointless meetings to “boost morale” - Scripts that weren’t flexible, but you were forced to use - Scripts were miss-leading, "If I told you I had 9 people ready to sign up for your services today, then you would find a way to pay for our software", often ending in cancellations and complaints. - Blow ups of sales reps that acted like children, with the conversation being had out in the open - Management was beyond lost. - No accountability - Employees were leaving so rapidly that the company was forced to close the office The answer to all of this? We need better energy. It’s hard to lead a ship with no competent leadership. If you want to rewarded financially, learn new skills or advance your career – don’t come work for Mindbody.
