Pros
Great company culture and team members. There was, for the most part (and more so before the layoffs in October) a good work/life balance and I never was overly stressed about work and I could take days off and sick days and not be worried about it. Lots of days off as well.
Cons
Ever since layoffs and new CEO, who at first seemed to be a great change that the company needed, things had gone very downhill. CEO sent out a company-wide email, clearly a spur of the moment/angry written email, saying that our "wellness days" (Days that he claimed were meant to be once a month for us to log off, detach from work and focus on ourselves and wellness) were actually NOT meant to be days off and that we should all still be available, reachable, checking slack/email EVERY day of the week. Even weekends. That is not a job or company that values work/life culture and that I did not want to work for. Now, I recently left the company before this next CEO failure of taking away the PTO payout promise July 1 since we would officially switch over to an unlimited PTO plan collectively, but 5 weeks from that July 1 date he sent out another company wide email basically saying jk! thats too expensive! Not sure how he wasn't EXPECTING and didn't know the cost MB would incur from doing this, since everyone stopped accruing PTO January 2023. It completely screwed over employees who have not been taking off any time this entire first half of the year in order to get their PTO payout July 1 and now are sh*t out of luck and have 5 weeks to use as much as they can and still leaving many with many hours unaccounted for and will essentially just go to waste. The entire ELT team now seems chaotic, unprofessional, and the new CEO acts on emotions and makes rash decisions instead of actually thinking anything through. Glad I left when I did.
