non growth market

Pros

I have been working there for 2 years. Top management is trying very hard to find areas to grow the company. But it has not found anything yet. So cost cutting is only way to keep earning growing.

Cons

When it is non growing company, it will be very difficult to retain great people

Pros

Time off and benefits are good for a rural area in Montana. Does not require a large amount of prerequisits to employment such as secondary education.

Cons

The culture is not particularly health. You may have to deal with swing shifts of 12 hours that switch between day and night all the time. Retirement packages for all but the most long term employees is scanty at best.
