Pros

Very competitive pay and you get to feel really good knowing that you're helping to provide a service to children in need

Cons

Coming to work in the Corporate Headquarters in Minnetonka is hard every day. The CEO of the company must be unquestioned. Even asking well intentioned questions leads to punishment in the form of being "blacklisted" or socially shunned. This even applies to senior management and if you have real, substantive questions or concerns about the way things are done. Recently, the CEO left on extended leave at the same time other senior managers are on vacation with no explanation, and the main office has been left ruderless. Very confusing and stressful place to work!

Pros

Decent Pay, get to work with wonderful kids.

Cons

Undertrained and unqualified staff all the way up the chain of command. Discipline for the children I work with is really arbitrary and sometimes cruel. When I began, children were locked in a plywood walled closet as a "time out". Overall, it is a very hard place to work if you care about children with ASD.
