Great team to work for. Nearly everyone works to make sure things are done safely and correctly. I've seen great growth in my career. Sometimes there's more to be done than there is time for but there are bound to be some growing pains with such explosive growth.

Cons

Increasing healthcare costs but probably on par with everyone.

Pros

Mirion has the vision and the desire to be a great organization. The Oak Ridge, TN managers and GM really care about their employees. We have fun, but we also work hard. Everyone gets along real good too.

Cons

The growing pains of going from a small location to a big location can be frustrating.

Pros

Mirion is a stable, growth focused company and as such the Oak Ridge, TN facilities are expanding. The current GM and other company leaders have their eyes on the ground, are fair, respectful of their team, recognize employee effort and talent, provide continued education opportunities and promote from within where possible. While the Oak Ridge facility has always been a good place to work at, management communication, team spirit, team cohesiveness and support has improved tremendously over the last two years and provided a more positive work environment. Personally, I truly appreciate the company and site leadership's ethics, honesty, trustworthiness, and the respect the company and site leaders have for their co-workers and employees.

Cons

As the Oak Ridge site goes through it's growing stages, career advancement opportunities are not always as quickly as available as some employees would like and patience can be key. Likewise, the company growth is bringing it's own temporary growing pains and increased work schedule and requirements. Hard work, wearing several hats and multi-tasking are requirements at all times to make it through these changes together as a team.
