Pros

Corporate functions are entirely remote. Base pay compared to other retailers in food space is competitive.

Cons

Bonus and benefits package are not competitive and was reduced post merger with imperfect foods. Very escalation heavy culture post merger combined with top-heavy decision making resulted in a lot of internal friction. Career ladder is unstructured and poorly defined goals and expectations makes it difficult to progress within the organization.

Pros

Incredible people- lots of folks to learn from Leadership cares and asks for feedback Encouraged to think differently and test new things The mission is important and there is a lot support for helping find new and better ways to deliver on it. While some reviewers identify this a con, leaderships ability to make difficult decisions (reorganization, strategy changes) is critical to long term success. While this can create an uncomfortable atmosphere at times, it shows leaders are committed to making the company sustainable, which in the long term will best serve employees.

Cons

Remote work is challenging for culture building. Start up life is not for everyone. We move fast and it can create stress.
